Dash... dashdashdash.... Nothing like having your OOT trapper(s) unable to plant and having to do the empire chat routine of "So which one of you equipped Dash this time and why have you not unseated them yet?"

As for the feature itself and how it works, I wish it had more depth. My whole daily interaction with the feature consists of pressing a button three times - maybe a couple more if I decide to check my hunting supply quantity or slot/fuse/etc. a sidekick (which is very rarely). If you want to get anything more out of it, you have to pay FP. While I don't have any problem with being able to pay $ for more hunts (considering that's basically the very nature of this game), the feature would feel less like a simple cash grab and actually be engaging / add substance to the game if it did a few different things:

      1) Involve decision making on the player's part that ultimately affects the outcome (and I mean something more than just choosing which squad to run or deciding what order to upgrade your hunting range in). Just for example, let's say you could send different LTs on the hunt, and different LTs could somehow affect your hunt results in different ways. Or let's say each hunt has a chance to proc a decision that will permanently affect their squads in different ways (for example you could choose between a very minor increase in the amount of supply you get, or take a reduction in the amount of supply you get in exchange for an increased chance to get rares or epics). Anything that helps players feel like they're playing a game rather than a mere RNG simulator.

      2) Have daily goals associated with the feature that amount to more than just "come back in an hour, a couple times per day". Maybe give us a way to earn an extra free daily hunt or two by playing other parts of the game, possibly by completing new types of daily achievements or something. Something that encourages users to be active and interested in actually playing the game rather than merely logging in to press a button.

Lastly, the sidekicks could have been balanced much better. Some of the abilities are really nice (see: boss epics), but the ability of some of the sidekicks are so underwhelming that they're barely even worth spending the five seconds it would take to equip them. Buffing those (or outright changing their abilities) would go at least a little way towards helping pique my interest in the feature.
Agree that the theme is WEIRD! Also agree it's just another clickfest. I agree on point 2). Actually point 2) making players have to come back every hour is the thing I most hate in this game. I want daily tasks, paying respect and hunting or whatever to be possible to be done any time of the day on one go. No waiting needed. No need to remember what time you did what last time.

I'm fine with the 1 hour cooldown, because you can actually reduce it to something like 5-10 minutes if you do your daily hunts for long enough. You can also reduce the FP cost from 15 to 5 so it actually becomes a reasonable price. I'm not sure how long it would take to be able to upgrade that to the maximum, but it's something to look forward to.

What is the drop rate for Epics? Gone 10 days now without a drop on all accounts. At 30 a day, not counting free hunts, that is 300 hunts with 0 Epics. One account is stuck on 24 for the same 10 days. All others are 27 or 29.

My opinion on sidekicks is pretty gray. I think its cool they implemented something fresh and new but I don't see myself spending cash trying to obtain the ones I want. By just doing the 3 hunts daily I will obtain what I deserve but events is where my money is spent...not crates, stam/energy or scratchers.

Re: Post your opinions about the sidekicks!

Overall I like the sidekicks. I enjoy multiple facets to the game. It keeps it exciting.
                Biggest complaints:
                1. Dash. I told everyone in my empire to delete it when it appears. It is just simply a fail.
                2. Supplies. Need to boost drop rate or introduce another way to earn them (Earn. Not buy).
                3. The animal motif seems silly.
                4. Ficus % is ridiculously low.
                5. The +Energy/-Stam ratio on sidekicks needs reworked. No one uses those +/- lts. Why would they use them on sidekicks?

Well you COULD reduce those timers...with about 2 years of Hunting Supplies you would need to level skills up.

                Dash makes Demos cry!

The parts about Dash and Ficus are pretty spot on.

I did a bit of math for Ficus, even if you somehow got him to 4*, which in itself seems impossible, it's a 2% chance to get a shard. Let's be frank, the only shard that would even matter is the epic shard, the normal and rare shard are good and all, but no one is going to go crazy over a normal or rare crate roll. The epic shard drop rate is 4% (1/25). So that means if I used 7120 refills (equivalent to $10,000), and assuming average luck, I'd get between 5-6 epic shards. That just doesn't seem right... For the Vegas event we just had, I used 10 refills to complete it and got 10 epic shards for it.

Looking at some of the other epic sidekicks, they have some serious power. Both of the boss sidekicks pack quite a punch for bossing specialists. The bear offers a bit of shielding which I assume helps Titans/Enforcers more than anything. The butterfly (didn't think I'd be talking about a butterfly in UE) is quite good, and is actually extremely impactful at 1*. I'm not quite sure what the Tiger is for, the ignore dodge seems like a weird ability. But Ficus's ability seems really really cool at first glance, until you factor in the actually percentages involved.

If I have a 4* epic with only one purpose, and I spent $10k, I'm expecting a minimum of 1-2 epic rolls. I don't think that's asking a lot. Devs should seriously consider adding a 0 behind the proc chances, because the ability you've come up with seems really unique and cool. I don't even have a Ficus yet, but I do have an energy build and would probably try to use him in the future... just not at those odds.

I have a 3*Ficus and have dropped like 3 common shards on about 400 challenge jobs at 100%. No rare or epic shards, this sidekick is extremely underpowered compared to other Epics

As usual my account is cursed and cant hunt a crit sidekick to save its life. I have all but the crit so far and each crit hunt gets me common to uncommon. Broken as usual. Also not sure i see any changes to my stats with these sidekicks loaded.

They need to post the percentages. I know they change with the upgrades but they can make the numbers dynamic and update when you update skills

The sidekick DASH needs some changes. The % damage is very low.

Doesn't she remove the trap on yourself when attacking? Sort of a "sucker punch" for everybody?

The way it reads seems like you hit a defender with a trap and you can set it off without them healing or armoring. But you only do 10% of the would be damage.

So you would do roughly 10-15 building damage instead of 100-150.

If it does reduce damage from traps on you then it’s a good sidekick.

I refuse to seat it because I believe it workers like the former.
