Usefulness is in the eye of the beholder, Allwyn. The top two qualities give 45 and 60 of the skill compared to 39 with a regular epic insignia. The additional allies are not a big thing if what you're after is more attack, defense, or health.

Just my two cents.

thats a analytical reply, with a bit of periodic taste...wasnt aware about the extra booth it gives to attack , defence, health

From "useless" to "too much effort" is a really short journey, even in real life.
There are a lot of benefits from doing the Cataclysm job. Put 40k to 50k on it and collect Alliance sets for a while.
...
But backing up to your earlier point - Sin will get you lots more allies than insignia. But that's only helpful in PvP WAR. The bruisers to bash my toons are often duelers, and the number of allies doesn't come into play. It's the same way with bosses. If you get some insignia that boost your attack or defense by 6 or 21 points ON A SINGLE INSIGNIA, you can make your inner circle stronger whether you're in a Boss Job, PvP DUEL or PvP WAR. If it was easy, everybody would have it. This is a path for a strong person with a vision.

I got 4 of these alliance insignia. I don't recall ever trying for it. I think it just came from MMB events.

Epic Alliance Set, where is it!?

I did a search on these forums looking for information about obtaining one or all of the Alliance Set of insignias. Come to find out that it once was available from the Doomsday boss...which is no longer active?

If that's true, then how could I obtain one or all of these insignias? Any info would be swell.
