    considerations for weapons acquisition

    is there somewhere an overview/guide what to consider on getting weapons?
    do I buy as many as I can afford? emphasize specific kinds? what kind? class considerations?

    I did something up last December prior to the Mysterious Token shop items being released so they're not included. What I have compiled here is only shop items and not boss drops, tech lab or easily viewed achievement shop items.

    This list is what the top shelf cash-purchasable items are:

    Top weapons/gear/vehicles to build at the shop as of Dec 2016.

    This list is subject to change as new mission areas often add new items.

    You can verify this list at anytime in the attack screen of war/invade.

    To verify defensive weapons, you need a mini/alt to hit yourself with to view those stats.

    The game will always sort your items highest-to-lowest so that you are always using the best items.

    Ultimately you want to have the highest shop items as the lowest items that you carry into war/invade until such time as all your boss drop loot surpasses these items. Generally this is best to do once your properties are at or near max. I started filling things out hard after Dojo 10 while waiting on the long latter building build queue times.

    Melee:
    Att: Golden Backbiter
    Def: Kusarigama

    Hand Guns:
    Att: Pistola de Oro
    Def: Bacon Greaser

    Assault Rifles:
    Famas H2 (Att + Def)

    Heavy Weapons:
    *Rail Guns (Att + Def)

    Gear:
    Att: Royal Phantom
    Def: Guardian Jetpack

    Vehicles:
    Att: Ultraluxe Streamliner (HSV Cyclone?)
    Def: Ultraluxe Streamliner


    When attacking with war/invade, the items with the higher att shows up further up the list.

    When defending with war/invade, the items with the higher def bounces up to take its place.

    The ? beside the HSV Cyclone is because the Att stat is higher than the Ultraluxe Streamliner, yet when verifying back and forth using war/invade the Ultraluxe Streamliner places on top - this is likely because it has more total Att/Def points combined.

    *Note that the Rail Gun is a Battle Rank item for 21. Though you could build Thumpers below 21, it is likely best to just grind out to 21 before filling in shop weapons in this manner.

      Atk + 0.75*def is 40.25 for Ultraluxe and only 39 for HSV, so the Ultraluxe is the stronger in attack (as well as defence).

        That would make sense though I hadn't considered that math working like that on items. I thought it just applied to base stats.
