    remove meat shields.... legend only with 50 actives,diamond with 30 actives ....I guess you all only want 50 active empires left fighting each other every war

      Just a thought on inactives / meat shields
      Please DO NOT auto kick members for not joining EvE alone - some of our members never join EvE but are steady in bosses and donations
      IMO auto kick needs to happen, but 30 days no sign in to the game would be a better trigger

      Better rewards for higher tier EvE wins, and gating the tiers are both welcome ideas

      This morning our feeder empire (Gold Tier) fought a empire with 10k shields, Nuke Etc. and a L2k Ghost (only active) - even with ~13 under L400 actives we were destroyed - IMO this is a great example where the current system is broken, that empire should never be allowed to skate in Gold Tier

      We were also told a empire merging feature (and empire rename) was in the works, this also would assist in making mergers easier and not leaving dead empires behind

        It's been said elsewhere; increase the requirements to starting new Empires. 10fp is too little.

          Doesn't matter what the cost is. There needs to be a level requirement attached to it.

          Tiers need to be based on HQ level. Top level is Legend and step down from there. No more bouncing back and forth and if you want newer upgrades then you have to step it up and fight better talent.

            I am not opposed to new empires, but we need a way to:
            - Auto Kick inactive accounts
            - Dissolve inactive empires
            - Merge Existing Empires (new name, old empires are dissolved)
            - Gate upgraded empires from skating in Gold Tier (WTF 10k shields in GOLD!)

            I think if we solve those problems then new empires are not a issue, and when they fail the broken parts will not be floating around UE - if they are successful they will have a chance to grow and compete

              to clarify on gating, maybe a few simple gates:
              - once you unlock bunkers can't go below platinum
              - once you are HQL5 can't go below Diamond

              On topic rewards suck if you do a good job, or if you fight to a higher level of play - this is backwards
              - higher tier of EvE, more rewards
              - full wipe of a empire more rewards for every 5m of early completion
              - x actives sign into a EvE - BAM instant rewards for everyone on (around 20, 40, 60 actives)

              These rewards don't have to be OP, cash, CC, Gear, scratchers, mysterious tokens, shards, etc. (I don't want to break game balance)

              When a L2k Ghost can get more CC and rewards by hiding out in gold and bronze empires then the system is broken

                Completely agree on rewards.

                Gating might take some work though and some changes to EvE rankings to keep an abandoned lv5 empire from becoming a solo diamond farm instead of the current solo gold farms.

                  I remember when I started...
                  Gold was a competitive league, 3.5yrs ago we didn't had thousands of lvl500+ abandoned and used as shields.
                  Any empire at any size average used to have exciting battles from gold and above.

                  I think the exemple above a ghost lvl2k ruling gold show the biggest problem we have in UE.
                  Remove red dots will reduce that empire to one active and not able to fight.
                  Also, to protect small empires from high unfair lvls in EvE Gaea can set a max damage cap based in empire league. It's ridiculous the damage ghosts are doing in gold league against small empire. Remove meat shields and
                  Cap max damage at 500 in gold and let's see if this guys still playing alone in low tiers.

                  I'm against increase rewards by tier or number of actives. This will only make bigger the difference between leagues. But I like the individual rewards to active players. Better rewards to Green dots. Normal to yellow and low to red dots if they join. This way people can be motivated to join more wars no matter which tier your are and all tiers wil become more competitive.

                  *IMO system match up not Broken.
                  The problem is. One guy join a empire in bronze with some good meat, keep playing this empire alone up to platinum, when he start to lose he switch to another empire and start all again. The first empire will need 3~4 battles to back to dead zone (maybe more) during this time all fights will be unfunny because only one size will be there to play.
                  This is why platinum and gold are so broken IMO.
                  Also automatic 4 battles. Small places don't have actives enough to make 4 so the last battle are one side only.
                  Back the number of EvE to 3 like used to be. If you have active enough to make 4 make officers set it manually. If you can't even set it up it's because you don't have time and ppl to fight 4 in a day.


                  *One last thing, this talk will take us somewhere?? Someone from Gaea are at least reading it???

                      If removing the inactive from the empire is difficult one more thing that can be done is ... make the actives leave and join active empires.

                      how this can be done ? --- make the Green, red, orange dots on the basis of player activity in wars, empire bosses, donations and other empire related activity. average out the Green and Orange actives in the last 4 war time period if the activity is below a certain no. the empire will miss the next war...

                      by doing this the if a particular empire misses out many wars the actives would be forced to join a better active empires in the long run... eventually the dead empire can be dissolved via a relegation system.

                        Ok i'll just assume that they read or at least noticed this thread and added the empire reward feature.
                        2 things about that:
                        -let us know before the event what the empire rewards are
                        -give us time to organize/change empire
                        just having a few hours to decide whether even to change empire just for these rewards is not enough.
                        If we knew a week in advance we could have recruited or looked for a merge but like this it's a bit sudden.
                        But it's a step in the right direction, now they only need to add something like this to regular eve.
