Underworld Empire Forums FAQ

Here you can find answers to questions about how the board works. Use the links or search box below to find your way around.

Rating Explaination

PG-13 Parents Strongly Cautioned. Some Material May Be Inappropriate For Children Under 13. A PG-13 rating is a sterner warning by the Rating Board to parents to determine whether their children under age 13 should participate/view the material, as some material might not be suited for them. A PG-13 rated item may go beyond the PG rating in theme, violence, nudity, sensuality, language, adult activities or other elements, but does not reach the restricted R category.

Volunteer Program

Game Gurus are Community Volunteers. They are people that we have recognized for their contributions to the overall Community. They are each recognized for their unique contributions to the community. They dedicate their time, efforts to help the community, and spread goodwill. In general, they provide good examples and should foster leadership and are granted extra responsibility to help maintain the forum community.

Game Gurus are people that have decided to spend their time helping the community. That means that instead of just playing our games, they are spending their gaming time doing things like answering questions (in game, in forums, in Chat). They are thinking up cool and fun events. They are going out of their way to help you (the community) have fun. Their purpose is also to introduce people to the basic functions of the game, make the rules and protocol of the game known, and to inspire community spirit.

What do they get out of this (aka, what is their diabolical plan)? Well, they get a warm fuzzy feeling at the end of the day (if all works as it should). They are just nice people, and are trying to help their fellow gamers.

The Game Guru program is here to recognize, and assist those people, that are working to help their fellows. We give them a title to make it easier to recognize them. We give them some contact information for the staff (not so different than what all players here use), so that they can ask questions, or let us know about issues. We give them a private forum, so that they can better coordinate their activities. This program is limited to only a few players. All adhere to strict rules that have been put in place.

If you believe there is an issue with the behavior of a Volunteer, please email support or private message me. This does not mean that we want an email every time a Game Guru tells you that you are being looney. Unless they are using inappropriate language, or doing something else wrong, there is nothing to report. They are just like every other player.
